While I dont have a recommendation, all I can say is dont go lower than a real quad core i7 (avoid the beat down i5/i7 dual cores.)

I bought a Intel i7 digital storm laptop, it clocks over 3ghz and has 8 threads. Its still a beast after 3 years.

You should be able to get a good workstation laptop and a gaming PC for that price separate, always the best, and it will give you significantly better gaming performance at home.
If you can spend $10 more, get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131708&cm_re=RX_480-_-14-131-708-_-Product
I highly recommend saving for a tiny bit longer. ;)
Get these.

Tell me, what's the problem with having a gaming PC for home, and a killer laptop for school?
Why do you want to play games on the go?
You're not going to go to the park, pull out your mouse and start playing Doom exactly are you?
Everyone I know who has bought a gaming laptop has regretted it, there's no upgradability and it is extremely expensive for the minimal performance you get.

Here's an option, I suggest this and the laptop I first suggested above, you really need that battery life in college.

As listed above. ;)
Take note of the better cooled version of the graphics card for $10 more.
Here it is again for reference.
Other graphics card if you can spend a little more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131708&cm_re=RX_480-_-14-131-708-_-Product

if i change me graphics card to a 1050ti and take away a ssd and lower the power supply. do you think that pc would play games at 1080p 60 fps. and also do you think i can edit and stream on there

Well, not quite, the RX 480 is quite a jump from a 1050ti (reference PCB) as the PCIE voltage limitation impacts the 1050ti quite a bit.
If you're going to get a 1050ti get one with a 6 pin, although I definitely suggest the RX 480, as it is a great deal and will cost the same while being miles better.
