need admin password at bpot up for dell xsp m140

when my computer starts up the dell screen then goes to a screen that says invalid configuration- please run SETUP program and then goes directly to.another screen that asks for a system or administrator password

You will have to call Dell forum rules forbid helping with passwords.

Dell is the whole reason im asking apparently theyve never heard of people using craigslist. i bought a used laptop and i hard killed and when i went to get back on it prompted me to run SETUP but cant access it then asks for an administrator password

If Dell won't help, you need to go back to the person who sold you the computer. As already stated, we won't help you bypass security measures, sorry!
