Need cheap laptop!

Looking for a cheap laptop fast! My very old, very reliable laptop passed away yesterday and I am moving overseas to travel in one month!

I am looking for the best laptop for Skype, Web browsing, blog writing, and music on a budget! I definitely wasn't expecting this expense right now.

Are you looking for a portable or more of a full size laptop? Weight matter? How thin? Do you need a DVD drive?

Portable is great! Really as thin and weightless as possible is preferable. I am always over the weight limit on my carry ons. No I do not need a DVD drive.

Light and sturdy. You may want to get the SSD version, it will help with hard drive reliability if you move the system around.
