Need guidance setting up 2 monitors from laptop

I have a HP Black 14 Pavilion TouchSmart 14-B109WM. I was told to use a display adapter and docking station. Monitors have VGA and the laptop has 3 usb ports and a hdmi port.

Assuming that your monitors only have VGA inputs, here the things that you need (or equivalent):

2. An "active" HDMI to VGA adapter: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAD5J5MA0628&cm_re=active_hdmi_to_vga_adapter-_-2VR-004R-00008-_-Product
3. 2 VGA cables - any generic VGA cables will do.
