Hi,

I dissasembled my laptop albeit not carefully, as a result there was ribbon cable connecting power to the HDD as seen in the picture, now that connection broke, how do i attach the two cables back?

What kind of tools i need, would a glue work?

Please help.

Here is the link to the picture.

As you can see in the picture, my hand is holding one end connected to ssd and the other end is connected to power button.

1. There's no picture

2. Which connector broke? The one that attaches to the hard drive, or the one that's attached to the motherboard?

3. A man's got to know his limitations

I am trying to upload an picture, but its now working , i dont know why, here is the link to the picture

HI, I have uploaded the picture, the one that attaches to hard drive

Hi,

I have uploaded the picture, as you requested, please someone provide with any pointers, where should i begin.

What you are telling us, the ribbon cable is detached from the connector, on the connector you have a plastic section you should push up or on the side. To tell you what to do, post a picture of the connector on the motherboard where the ribbon is attached.
