hi all, i recently (impulse) purchases 2 pairs of Yamaha NS-AW150WH 2-Way Indoor/Outdoor Speakers
they are 120 watts maximum power capacity, 35 watts nominal
so i need help finding a budget friendly stereo reciver to power these, now sure how many ohms/watts i need as i am clueles when it comes to this stuff. bestbuy recomended the Yamaha
Yamaha R-N301 which is 300$ wanted to see if there are any cheaper options.
thanks!

These are 6 ohm speakers so when you play two pair at the same time the receiver sees a 3 ohm load which is lower than most will handle. The Yamaha they suggest does give power specs down to 2 ohms which is why they recommend it.
Another way to do it is to use a speaker selector box with impedance matching like this one

that would work with any stereo receiver such as the cheap Insignia one that Best Buy sells for under $100.

It also gives you separate volume control of each pair.
