Need help picking out a Headphones/Headset

My headset recently broke and im looking for a replacement headset/headphone.
I have a budget of $300, im currently using onboard sound on my p9x79 le mother board.
I was thinking of getting this headset and maybe a sound card later.

Well, not really. I really don't trust amazon because I have been scammed a few times. Newegg is a google certified buisness so that is really helpful. Also, they are one of the few online hardware stores left.

Oh, sorry. Astro was bought out by skullcandy which means that their customer service has also been transferred. This means that there will be a better chance of a good customer service experience than before.
