So I just got a new gaming laptop and I started playing tf2 on it, no matter what resolution and ratio I play it on I get 30-40 fps when I should be getting 80-150. I already set the laptop to the dedicated NVIDIA gpu and there is no difference (I also reset it after I set it) so what gives? this isnt a gaming laptop if it cant play a low end game at least 60 FPS.

Hi,

May we know the complete specification of your gaming laptop? Here are some basic troubleshooting steps you can do that may also help.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to check Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once done, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
- Here's the link: http://www.geforce.com/drivers
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot set Nvidia as the default GPU by following the link below.
