Need laptop recommendation(3d rendering/animation)$1500

Hello,
I am looking for a laptop that's suitable for 3D modelling, rendering and animation at about 1500$.

I'm a Visual art student and previously owned a Asus (N750JV) which was defective and broke down. With my second year starting soon, I badly need a replacement, so I'm looking for a prebuilt laptop that can handle at least as much as the Asus, preferably a dependable brand with international support. I'm currently looking at Lenovo and Dell, but I don't have much experience with laptops, do you have any model or brand recommendations?

Lenovo is a good choice for build quality and performance. The Y50 series may be just what you're looking for:

As rendering is a heavily CPU-bound class of tasks, with the GPU mostly useful for the viewport, you'll find that the combination of a GTX 960M and a very competent quad-core i7 will suit your needs. The $999 should be suitable for you.

I would go for either the msi ge series, asus rog series or a barebone laptop.
