Need optical output from tv to be amplified for BT headphones due hearing disability while allowing the tv sound to also work.

My wife can’t hear tv.. hearing problem. She used a BT headset with tv. Tv has Bluetooth and optical. How can I increase headset volume while also using normal TV output for myself. Want headset to work while tv output also works.

If your TV will not let you use bluetooth and the built in TV speakers at the same time then the only way to work around this is to use something like this

with the addition of a soundbar for you.
Check the TV manual on how to use the optical output. You may need to turn it on, the TV speakers off, and change the audio type to PCM stereo.
