Need software help, just some questions

My new build is finished. What all do I need to update from the default drivers that were on CD?

- Motherboard
- CPU.?

Everything -- no joke, go online and get the latest drivers from their respective manufacturers

Just go to the motherboard's manufacturer website and download/install all the drivers and utilities available for your make/model. That should give you the latest for audio/chipset/networking and some other extras.
For discrete cards (video and/or audio, separate network cards if applicable) go to the website of their respective manufacturers (for graphics, use ATI or NVIDIA's sites).

Ok it's just there's abunch of drivers that I don't even know if I need them :/
Is msi live downloaded good for downloading the ones I need?

It should be good, I usually download them all and then pick and choose the latest ones that fit my configuration. The system will not use the ones that are obsolete or not applicable.
