Need to gameshare on steam pc

I bought a hardcopy cd game black ops 3 for steam. Is there a way i can give my friend a copy so we can play multiplayer together on different pcs? I want to gameshare but i have no key just a cd.

No, you will need to buy another key to play it on another system at the same time.

the way steam game sharing works is that only one person can be playing games on the account at once. meaning, if someone else is playing a shared game from you and you start up a completely unrelated game it will quit out. i'm glad they have a sharing option but it is limiting and rightfully so.

if you want to play multiplayer, you both need copies.
