Need to reduce fan noise/ rpm on my laptop for silent operation at school

My Laptop fan noises are quite loud even with low work load such as word processing and light internet browsing. Anyone know any programs that can alter fan rpm so I can reduce noise as my laptop is already running cool.
It is a Metabox laptop also known as Clevo in the US and has an i7 @ 3.5ghz and gtx 880m 8gb, also 20gb of ram. I believe the model number of the laptop is P150SM

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

(Note: I have already tried Speed fan and it is not compatible)

Can you not set the fan speed in BIOS ?

There is no fan control speed in the BIOS

Most laptops have a setting for: QUIET, Standard, Performance.
