Just bought a Toshiba Satellite C55D-B35310, the battery is fixed (screwed in) to the casing.
Do we need to keep disconnecting the battery once it's charged up to stop it from continually wanting to charge when it reaches 100%?
If the battery continues to charge after it has fully charged, you should e-mail Toshiba. If, they confirm your diagnosis, that laptop should be returned because it is defective and a potential fire hazard.

Thankyou Kanewolf. Yes, well, of course it keeps charging, I'm guessing, there's no indication that it isn't, once fully charged. Bought on special at Best Buy in laredo Texas, we live in Mexico, so we might be screwed with this one...
