Need to reset 32HLC56. How?

need to reset Toshiba 32HLC56 LCD tv.

I am trying to connect it as a second monitor to my computer.
When I selected PC as the input, I then went to adjust the width and height of the screen.
It must not have liked my settings - because it kicked me out.
Now the PC input flashes very fast, and it won't let me in to see the menu there.
I tried unplugging the tv, and disconnecting the vga cable for awhile.
that did not work.
I looked online and saw insructions for pressing a reset - but I see no reset on remote or in the settings.

Hello. There is a reset in the menu, but if you don't see it then it's hard to change. You can try going at it blind:
1) With the VGA connected and the flashing, press Menu on the remote.
2) Press the right arrow ( →) three times.
3) Press the down arrow ( ↓) four times.
4) Press ENTER on the remote.
5)Press the down arrow ( ↓) six times.
6) Press ENTER on the remote.
If you are over the reset option (hopefully) the picture will be okay afterwards.


If you cannot even access the menu, I suggest changing the resolution of your external monitor in windows to a lower resolution, until the menu is available, then resetting the settings in the TV menu.
