need tv help or repair advice

we have a Samsung PN43E450A1F that when turned on has a black screen with the picture barely viable on the top and bottom edges, has sound, and on the left edge where the plastic meets the screen you can hear sparks inside(plastic is warped/bumpy). is there a solution to this or do i need a new tv at this point? thanks

any suggestions? didnt really want or need one but if i do id want 55" or higher smart tv, also mainly used for occasional gaming or movies. budget would be under $1000

Go to a store, look at the image, write down the model, then buy it online for $0.88 cents cheaper. Do NOT try to repair it yourself, as televisions contain capacitors and such that store dangerous pixie dust (DC volts), that can be deadly. Just by the way you wrote the questions, you don't have the skills to attempt a repair. And modern hardware has a trivial chance of being repaired by even very skilled experienced people.
