Solved! Needed help with HDMI splitters

I have a hopper dishnetwork and I’m trying to get single to another tv in a bedroom I brought a HDMI splitter and I can get pictures from the tv in the bedroom but the main tv in the living room can’t get any thing could someone help

Did you get an active HDMI distribution amplifier?
Passive HDMI splitters are completely useless.
The HDMI cable you use affects whether it works too,
