Netbook selection for soldier in Afghanistan

Want to purchase a netbook for use in Afghanistan. Primary uses will be Hulu, Skpe and blogging. Good video playback is extremely important feature. A netbook is needed for best portability. Price is not the main issue, but battery life is another major need.

Please recommend best choices.

Hi there,

Check out the Toshiba Mini NB305. It has built-in Wi-Fi, webcam, and 3 USB ports so it will be great for streaming fideo, skyping, and blogging. It has a 10.1" screen and weighs 2.6 lbs.

I read reviews that indicated video issues with the Intel Atom and want to avoid these problems if possible. Again video for SKPE and HULU are ver inportant. Would going to a netbook that has the AMD neo II help?
