Netgear c3700 modem/router does not allow access to most websites how do I resolve this issue?

Have Netgear c3700 router/modem that I use for timewarner. I am not able to acess most websites a few I can get access too is google and youtube. I have tried rebooting the router doing a factory restore and a power cycle but issue persists. The issue is consistent through out all my devices whether is is PC, mobile devices (android or iOS) and as well as mac. I have attempted to disable firewall and decrease MUT but issue persists. Talked to timewarner they said everything is fine from there end (of course it always is). Only thing I have not messed wih is the DMZ, to be honest I am not sure what to do with it even if I did mess around. Thank you guys in advance. Also, not sure if this helps but I spoke wih timewarners TIER 3 they were no help.

It seems like you're not the only one who's having the same problem with that router. Most of the other users who had that router tried a different one which worked right away.

Yea I replaced the router and issue was fixed, but thats weird its interesting as to what is causing that to happen.
