Looks like the Asus Zenbook UX51vs/vz are being populated in stores right now. I would assume that the ux52 is model higher than the ux51, but my main question is what is up with the "vz" and "vs" endings? Sorry, I have googled but with no success.

Also, just a quick question bout the screen, is it "smooth" in terms of the border to screen transition like seen on the macbook or not?

if you have any of your own questions, feel free to ask.

The UX51 only comes in UX51VZ and the UX52 is the UX52VS. So there's no such model as the UX51VS or UX52VZ. They are practically the same, spec-wise. The main difference between the 51 and 52 would be that the UX52 has an optical drive. Depending on configuration, but can be configured identically; the main separating factor is the DVD drive. Because of that, the UX52 is a LITTLE thicker and heavier.

Both have the same type of display, though. The screen to bezel transition is not exactly smooth. You will be able to tell where the bezel ends and the display starts.
