new blu ray player hdmi hook up only

i have a new blu ray player with hdmi only hook up want to hook my older kenwood reciver to it. Reciver does not have hdmi

Get an adapter cable, or a converter depending on the inputs your receiver has.

You can't use a cable but will need a converter like this one:

to extract the audio from the HDMI.
