Hi Community,

i would like to buy a new high end gaming laptop in the near future and I plan to spend a maximum of 2500€ for it. It would be really helpful, if somebody can point out some models and share solme experience with me about laptops that fit my requirements:

- The Laptop should to be at least 13.3" up to a maximum of 15,6" because I don't like the big 17"+ Laptops. (4k is not important, as I prefer FullHD)

- It should be able to play all actual und coming games of the near future in high details, so for a GPU I would prefer something like a GTX970M, GTX980M or a SLI configuration

- Not a direct disqualifier, but it should be reasonable silent and cooled (no thermal throtteling)

At the moment I am waiting for an Acer Predator 15 G9-591-79CP review (My top candidate atm) but I like to know if someone can recomment another laptop with similar specs or other features that make it awesome ^^

PS: My first top candidate was the Razer Blade 2015, but it's almost impossible to get one in germany

It's just that i already have a pretty nice desktop pc (i7 4790k, MSI GTX980TI, 32GB Ram) and when i'm at home i always play at the desktop, but i regularly meet up with friends and have to bring my laptop with me. The problem is that my old gaming laptop does not nearly get me in the same range of gaming performance, that i'm used to from my Desktop and that is irritating me (This stupid feeling that once you've experience something better, you can't get back anymore).

I don't really recommend anyone to spend that much on a gaming laptop. If I were you I would buy a desktop (it's not like you'll game while moving around with a gaming laptop, it will be pretty stationary, altough more portable). If you need a laptop, buy a cheap one and build a gaming desktop (much more value and performance for the price). For such a budget you could fit gtx 980 ti in SLI and very high quality components and you won't have problem with thermal throttling over sustained workload.

The GS30 2M SHADOW is a cool idea, but it's more like a desktop replacement. The performance should be good with the docking station, but without it and that would be my usecase most of the time, it has no dedicated graphics card and is probably limited by it's internal GPU. I don't wish to replace my desktop by a Laptop, i only need a laptop for the time i'm away from home and then i don't want to feel the performance drop from 60-100 to 20 fps. The reason i plan to buy such an expensive laptop and want to be well informed about my options is because I always think its better to spend more money on a premium device once every 5 years, than buy a cheap one every year. Its not like i can just buy something like that all the time, so i just spend more time to make sure everything is perfect and get opinions of other people through a forum like this one ;).

And i'm not blindly buying something expensive, if i find a cheaper solution for my requirements i'm actually more happy with that too. The 2500€ is more like an absolute maximum and i'm a lot more happy with something in the 1500€ range and save something for a vacation than spend everything on a laptop, but it should not be a trade of quality for price.

Ok, I understand. I would choose a laptop with a gtx 970m or gtx 980m but a laptop with a weaker gpu (maybe even no discrete gpu) and a docking station (as suggested above) is also a good choice (you would also need a gtx 970 or R9 390 for that option, I myself have an R9 390 but on a desktop).
Here's a good choice from MSI (you can get) altough I don't know if you can find it in Germany:
http://www.xoticpc.com/msi-gt72-dominator-pro-g034-p-8597.html
(Pros: dual fans, 1080p ips g-sync display, gtx 980m 4gb, as you really don't need 8gb on that gpu, latest cpu, ddr4 ram, M2 ssd etc, Cons: Price, but it is oh for what are you getting).

SLI gtx 970m laptop:
http://www.xoticpc.com/msi-gt80-titan-sli071-p-7950.html
Pros:
Mechanical keyboard, gtx 970mx2 sli, it comes with backpack accesories (at least on this site), overall high quality (just like the other I recommended)
Cons: Big (18.4inch), no g-sync display, slighlty older tech.
P.S. I think the price of this one will be inflated in Germany.

In conclusion I would pick the first option or a cheaper laptop with a docking port (also need desktop gpu for that but I think the last option paired with a gtx 970 would give the price with also more performance then the first option).

U wot m8 ? It has a GTX 970M inside o.o the docking station is only in case of upgrades, it has nothing inside, just a PSU, some weird Speakers and some usb connectors...
EDIT: By the way!!!!!! Warning!! i've reviewed this in Spanish website, since im from spain, following this link http://www.pccomponentes.com/msi_gs30_2m_033es_i7_4780hq_16gb_512gb_ssd_gtx970_13_3_.html
Then gone to the MSI english page to link it to you... You are right, the english website model doesn't has a dedicated GPU, but, the webpage i link you delivers to all Europe, also someplaces in United states. Sorry for my mistake.
EDIT 2: you can get it from amazon as well: http://www.amazon.es/MSI-GS30-2M-Shadow-033ES/dp/B00SJD0L2C

I saw the post abou 15.6 inch but for the performance level you expect you neeed a 17.3 inch laptop minimum (otherwise not enough room for all components).
I have a 17.3 inch laptop and a 15.6 inch one (older, not gaming laptops) and I prefer the bigger sceen even if it is more difficult to move around. You need a 17.3 inch laptop for top notch performance without heat issues etc.
For a 15.6 inch screen I can recommned a laptop with a gtx 970m (you can also find with gtx 980m but I wanted quality from a good brand). Here's my suggestion:

Sth with a gtx 980m:

And if you don't mind a Sager:
