New HDD - nơ can't access facebook

I just got a new hard drive. Everything works but when I try to access Facebook I get the message "This site can’t be reached

www.facebook.com took too long to respond.
Try:
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT"

I can access FB on my phone through the same router

Using Windows 7 Ultimate.

I can access Youtube, Google etc - just not FB.

If that doesn't work, then there is something going on with either their site, or your ISP. Had that happen to me recently. Called the ISP as couldn't get to yahoo, google or other search sites. Only them. Guy swore up and down had to be on my end. Finally went over his head and they found that someone doing updates on their end made the wrong changes. So I would check with them if even another browser can't get there.

Yes, I've tried both Chrome and IE. IE suggests that the router is configured correctly, but that site (facebook.com) ísn't responding.

I am able to access m.facebook.com, but not facebook.com

If you can access every other site then I would say there is something going on with your ISP.

You can try clearing out the cache and history for both browsers and see if this helps. Perhaps there is something in there hindering it. I don't think it will be, but it can't hurt to try.

you're right - it didn't hurt ! lol (it didn't help either!)

I would truly start to wonder if there is something going on with the ISP then.
