Solved! New Laptop $600 - $700

Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out if I should get the http/www.amazon.com/UL30A-X5-Light-13-3-Inch-Black-Laptop/dp/tech-data/B002P3KMVC/ref=de_a_smtd (ASUS UL30A-X5) for $600 or if there's something better within my price range. I can afford to wait a month or two if that will bring a better machine into that range. Thanks guys!

What will you be using that laptop for?
UL30A-X5 is a low power, long batter life laptop.
In that same range you can get more powerful laptops shorter battery life.

Hi Steve,

The Asus you linked to is a good choice for basic functions but there are a few other laptops you may want to check out (that are in your price range) before you make a decision. The Dell Studio 15 has a really nice sized screen in case you will want to watch movies on your laptop. It also has optional Intel® Core™ i7 Mobile Processors. Another option is the Acer Aspire AS7740-5691. It is only $649 and has smart Intel Core i3 processing and a very large screen (17.3 inches).

Can you provide any more insight into what you may be using your laptop for? I can definitely give some more suggestions.
