Hello Internet,

I'm looking for a new laptop for my University Studies seeing as majority of my books will be purchased and read on a screen rather than on paper. I currently have an Acer Aspire One with an Intel Celeron 743 (1.3GHz) so honestly pretty much anything would be an upgrade. My budget is $450AUD because I still have yet to buy half of my textbooks. I have been looking at these two laptops here.

What are peoples recommendations on which one to purchase?
I don't have enough time to ship a laptop in from interstate or internationally so unfortunately the laptop will have to come from Adelaide, Australia. I know neither are good enough to play Tomb Raider at 4k with 1000fps but I'm only really looking to be using Microsoft Office, Chrome and 720p video watching. If someone would be keen enough to look on JBHIFI or MSY at the other products that would be super super helpful but if not I don't mind a quick answer of A) or B) :p

Thanks

Ryan

Both those laptops are very low end. If basic usage is your scenario then look into chromebooks. I know they can't run the full version of windows but you can use the online versions. This is assuming you need office.
