New mitsubishi dlps

I was thinking of getting one of the new 738 or 838 dlp tvs from mitsubishi, but I was wondering if they offer 1080p 3d or half resolution. I know the checkerboard format wasn't full 3d but the new models supposedly support side by side, so does that mean they will be full hd 3d? Also will the Mitsubishi 3d adapter make any difference?

I would wait before investing in3D. a few years from now the picture will be better and cost much less.

I have a mit. 65" 3d ready the only reason i have it is the 1200.00 price i got it for .the 1080p is gret not as sharp as say a sony bravia but still great...
