NEW Sennheiser Game Zero - Extremely low microphone volume

Hello,

Well, as the title says, my microphone in my new sennheisers is super low, like people can hardly hear me. I've put maximum microphone volume in windows, and maximum boost, however it is still extremely low.

I've found this on the internet (http/imgur.com/a/ONsSh) however I can't even complete it as I don't have the button in the 1st step. I am unsure whether my computer recognises the inputs.

I own a Acer Predator 17 laptop, which is also kind-of brand new (only had it for 3-4 months).

Please help.

It works on another rig just fine. I have it stuck to my mouth basically like 1cm in front of it and it is super low.

I've found a solution.

For me it doesn't really make sense why it would be there but yeah, here it is:

1. Go to Playback devices
2. Select "Speakers" (your headset)
3. Double click it or go to properties
4. Go to "Levels"
5. Put the "Microphone to 100" and make sure it is turned on.

Hope it will help someone. I have no idea what Microphone does in my headphone settings but okay.. it was turned off and at a level of 23.
