new setup for HDD

hi guys,
my old HDD isn't working now (6yrs old) it is giving too many errors from a month now i repaired it 100 times but it still gives the same errors.
I want to buy a new HDD for my pc. can u ppl help me buying a new HDD setup ?

Forget the Hard Drive and get a Solid State Drive.

So you already have a SSD and are replacing the HDD you are using for storage?

i am sorry forget to mention i do no have a ssd yet. and yes i am planning to buy one just for OS

I imagine you are in the market for a SATA HDD, but could you be specific as to which interface you will be going with?

honestly brother, i know nothing about hdds or ssds tho, all i know is to add a SSD to my OS and a HDD to my programs can u help
