I recently bought a new SSD card and when i try to start my computer I get "no bootable devices" I've gone to the boot screen and made sure Windows boot manager was number 1 and still nothing.

Anyone have any idea's?

Thanks!

To be honest, i have no idea. Im not very computer savvy.. I bought a new SSD card, took out the old one and put the new one in. Was i suppose to do something else?

And when i was in the boot screen area, it said i had no SSD card in the slot? I talked to the guy on Dell and he said it was a match for my computer.

Its a Samsung 850 EVO M.2 250gb

Computer is a Alienware 17R3.

You'll need to install windows on the new ssd. You can either get a new copy and start fresh or move your copy from your old drive to the new one.

Now when you mean i need to get a new copy, do i need to go to the store and buy it? or can i just go online some how and download it? Thanks!

Yeah i think that was my old SSD. It says "Sata sad 128 gb" and at the top it says "samsung sad cm871 m.2 2280 128gb"
