Hi, so I'm a first time PC builder and I've run into some problems. whenever I try to turn on my psu the motherboard flashes blue SOMETIMES. Other times it just doesn't do anything. I've plugged in everything all the way and I'm not sure what to do. Thanks in advance

Solution
It may need a BIOS update, to support the 6100. Since it needs the latest update which came out 20/12/2016.

Less than 3 weeks ago

Core i3 Skylake i3-6100 100 3.7 512K 3M S0 51 HD Graphics 530 1050MHz 7994v58.zip

And unless you can borrow a CPU that the BIOS currently supports, you'll have to take it to a shop and ask them to flash it with a lower spec CPU

Then put yours back in
