nexus 7 or 10?

So, I can either get the new nexus 7 2013, or get the older, bigger, more expensive nexus 10 if I wait a bit.
So I basically want it for gaming, (heavy and light). Since the N10 is getting old, is it a good idea too buy it? And what are the other tablets I can take a look at in that price range? I want as lag free as possible, (andoird based).

Another thing, will the n7 2013 and n10 be getting future Android Updates? Like 4.4+?

I would probably wait the nexus 8 to come out. Anyway if you cant wait I personally have the nexus 7(2013) and its a very good device, plays all games smoothly.The real thing to consider here is the screen and battery life I guess.But if I were you I would wait the nexus 8 or a new nexus 7 or 10

If I were you I definitely would buy it right away. Google will announce Android KitKat 4.4+ for it. Don’t worry your money won’t be wasted.

Its not really about the software but a new nexus device will probably have better specs at the same price.Also the nexus 7(2013) which I own has already been updated to android kitkat.
