Nigvurcorre virus Need help

So my friend stumbled across a program known as the Nigvurcorre virus (That was the folder name in the program files rooted in the C: Drive) It seemed like a live hacker was taking control of his computer and many ads started to pop up along with an installation that automatically went along. Please try and help.

run malwarebytes...its free and effective...

He didn't have Malwarebytes. He is going to get it fixed at a local shop. Just posting for awareness of this potential new virus.
