No Audio via Samsung HW-J355 Soundbar when conncted to Samsung TV LE37C580J1K

Do not get any audio/sound coming out of Samsung HW-J355 Soundbar when conncted to Samsung TV LE37C580J1K (2010 Model) using Optical Cable (new)

Samsung TV Model - LE37C580J1K
Samsung TV Firmware - 2010 Model - Does this need upgrading ?
Disabled Internal Speakers and set to External
Input on Soundbar set to D-IN


Tested Bluetooth on Samsung Sound bar via S7 Edge Mobile Phone - Works fine

Please advise - Thanks

I may be wrong, but believe I've read before that you may have to change the type of audio output on the TV..possibly set it to PCM, or try other formats if they are available.
