No bass on Sub-Woofer

Recently I connected a 5.1 audio system on my Gigabyte 990FXA UD-5 motherboard which has Realtek ALC 889 audio chip. Now the subwoofer and the other speakers responds properly while being tested from the Realtek HD Audio Manager but there is no Bass while playing media or games. I am using Windows 10 x64 and installed the latest drivers.. Any input regarding this problem is appreciated. Thanks

Oh bummer. Just uninstall it again. Wouldn't be surprised if theres remnants still left from the old driver regarding Realtek. http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/guru3d-driver-sweeper.html

When you have time try driver sweeper, read the instructions under how to use.

Used Geek Uninstaller and removed all traces and reinstalled the drivers but having no luck its the same all over again 🙁

No, I was just saying that I'm not the person to talk to regarding persistent driver issues. It's easy enough for me to spend an afternoon to do a fresh install if things just don't want to work.

Actually I am not sure a fresh windows install could solve this issue.

An old Realtek Audio driver version 2.13 which is without dolby has done the trick for me. Got bass management back on Audio manager but had to let go dolby.

Wish I could have helped better, but I'm running 8.1 and don't have experience using realtek drivers in 10.

I have come to a conclusion that its something to do with dolby... The drivers without dolby are working without any problem.. But with Dolby Digital plus and DHT the problem starts.
