No Display on LCD Screen

Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron N5030. The problem I am having is no display on the LCD screen of my laptop. I do get display on an external monitor. The computer boots and acts completely normal when being viewed on an external monitor.

Here is what I have done so far:

1. I replaced the motherboard.
2. I replaced the display cable.
3. I replaced the LCD screen.

After replacing the motherboard, 2 different display cables and LCD screen I still cannot get any video on my LCD screen on the laptop.

Please help if you have any suggestions.

Hi, do you always use the same inverter for all your tests?

This display has an inverter built in. I think the problem is going to be the new motherboard and the inbedded video card on the board. I sent it back for a replacement.
