No HDMI playback opption

Using a HDMI cable to my TV I am not getting sound transfer to TV. Everything I read says to open sound manager and select High Definition Audio as playback. I do not have this option, only speakers. I have right clicked and selected show hidden/disabled and nothing else appears. Toshiba Satellite/Windows 8/Realteck High Definition Audio, checked for driver updates and comes back that I have the most current.

Don't use the Windows check for drivers option, go to the Toshiba site and look there for drivers for your system. It may be the TV also, if it's an older set, it may not work with all HDMI devices.
