No name web camera driver

Is there a way to find a driver for a no name usb web camera? it does not identify itselfe in xp, and win 7 does not want. i hate to throw things away!

Try to press "windowsbutton+pause" and choose device manager.
Then see if you can find the unknown device, if you do right-click it and choose properties -> details, from the dropdown menu choose "Hardware ID".
Then mark the ID and press "ctrl +c". Open your favorite web browser and use google search the ID. Maybe you wil get something useful out of it.
