No Photos Selected --- Not just on daydream

I just got a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Amazon, and the background says, "No Photos Selected" at all times. Even when I'm on an app, say instagram, the message "No Photos selected" shows over the app. I've tried turning on and turning off Day Dream mode. The phone is continually asking me to select or deselect apps to show over other apps.

Sounds like you got a defective phone to me. I would suggest contacting the seller and get them to replace it with a correctly functioning one.
