NO sound headphones tried a lot

basically its as simple as this

there is sound coming from the internal speakers on the laptop

when the headphones are plugged in sound comes from right headphone only and internal speakers too.

when headphones are plugged in they aren't recognized in manage audio devices

tried to install and uninstall sound drivers not working...

laptop Toshiba satellite L855-149

they were working before just fine

Are you plugging your headphones into the 3.5 mm headphone jack? Make sure you're not plugging it into the microphone jack, because then you won't get audio through the speakers.

Also try re-installing your audio driver again.

it is the correct port.... but interesting you say that it does recognize the microphone.... maybe broken jack?

It's possible, is there a second jack you can try? Also like i7Baby said try testing it with other headphones.

different headphones make no difference tried them with my iphone work fine...

new update uninstalled real tek and now there is no sound from the headphones at all but internal speakers working as well as microphone when plugged into them... and i only got 2 audio slots
