no sound on tv when connected to computer?

hey i reformatted my computer and now there is no hdmi option on my computer so when i click
playback device it doesnt have an option to click the hdmi and select set as default device so the sound come out of the tv not the computer screen

By drivers for HDMI, means drivers for the video card, you also want the chipset and audio drivers.
