no wifi device connected

my laptop is showing just symbol of LAN not wifi.. when i go to device manager it showed me that no wifi device is conneted ..

It could be that the WiFi card in the laptop has died. Or it never had one (which can happen). You can try an external WiFi card, connects via USB port and see if it works for you. If it does, you can stick with that. Or you can go inside and replace the internal WiFi.
