When will tablets every get off the 8mp back cameras. I know most people don't use them as every day cameras. They improve the front but keep the same ole 8mp back since years now. Come on. Improve the rest of the device but not the main camera?

That would mean they either have to cut costs somewhere else or increase the price in a very price sensitive market... and for what? A smartphone is better suited for the task of taking pictures and shooting video in every way, including physical dimensions. I'd rather have a great camera in my phone and a tolerable camera in my tablet. Heck, as long as both front and rear cameras are good enough for Skype that's about all I'd care about. The other specs and of course price are more important.
