Solved! Not receiving surround sound from tv

Hello Guys, i recently purchased Toshiba 55U5863DB 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD TV,HDR10,Dolby Vision and Freeview Play and a PANASONIC SC-BTT405EBK 5.1 Smart 3D Blu-ray & DVD Home Cinema System, my issue is my surround sound works on the right source but i cant get the surround to come through normal tv, i have used Hdmi, Aux leads & Optical, still no luck, i know it works when i play things through bluray but when changing channel back to tv box it goes back to tv audio, ive looked into audio settings on tv and im lost, can anyone help ?

1. Connect HDMI output of BD/HTS to HDMI-ARC input of the TV.
2. Turn on ARC in the TV menu. You may have to turn the TV speakers off and change the audio to Bitstream 5.1 in the TV menu.
3. You may also need to turn off CEC in the TV menu.
