nothing plays from soundcloud

im not sure if i put this in the right catagory but oh well, it can be changed if needed. i was asked to see why soundcloud wouldnt play. i searched but i couldnt find anything. its a toshiba satellite c655d-s5139. What happens is when i click play on soundcloud, nothing happens. This is in internet explorer, i havent tried another browser cause i dont want to download it, its not my laptop. It was a private track or something, and we tried changing it to public, which didnt work. Flash player is installed. also a youtube video worked with audio im at a loss of whats wrong with it. and yes, the volume is turned up on both soundcloud and the laptop

any help would be great!

just an update, i can play other stuff on soundcloud, but not this one thing. does the fact that its 50 minutes have to do with anything? i can play it on other devices, but not the laptop. does it sorta have to buffer the whole track before playing?
