now that i have a laptop that has window 8 how can i connect my hp printer scanner to my laptop.
The printer /scanner to my lalptop. the printer shows connected and does work but the scanner does not show conectted and not scan. It worked fine when connected to my windows 7 laptop.

scanner usually required you to install some software. either install it from the cd or go to hp website and search for it with you printer/scanner model.
