I had a problem that my laptop (MSI-GP60) screen would only go up when connected to an external screen. so I tried to disable the other graphic card - Intel HD graphic 4600 throught Device Manager - Display Adapters. and after that the screen went black, I restarted and got that result:

As you can see windows is turning up but there is a problem with the graphic card.

Hi,

Yes you are right when you say it has a problem with the graphics card. Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then try booting it up again.
- If the same problem will persist, connect an external monitor and see if the display would be normal on it or not.
- If the display is normal using the external monitor that could mean that the problem is with the built in display.
- But if the display is still the same with the external monitor that could only mean that it's the GPU that is faulty.
- Go contact MSI support for a repair with the GPU.

I managed to start windows properly, but there is still a problem with the external GPU, everytime I lunch a program with it I see only half screen and external screen does not work.
Do you know if there is an option to change only the external GPU, or is it soldered to the MB?
