I have a laptop with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. So far I have made two screens connect in the surround feature but not the third. I have used the only HDMI port and the only display port, but the last monitor will not connect in the surround feature with the thunderbolt port.

Is this the best port to use as I have many spare USB ports?
Would a USB to HDMI port be better?
Or is it just not possible??
PLEASE HELP!

Solution
Thunderbolt/USB-c may not be connected to the GPU since usually the third screen is the one in the laptop.
Which exact laptop is this so someone can check for you.
