I have been using it for about a week now. It works, but i haven't found much of a reason to upgrade from 2007 yet (although to be fair, im mostly using word, excel, and outlook).

I had no problems getting it to work with IE8--and it downloaded at about 1.1 MB/s for me. I downloaded it the day it came out though.

The DL didn't take long at all for me today in IE. I think it was around 20 minutes max. Never the less, I like it- a few improvements over 2007. MS has beefed up the security on it though, i.e. activation.

I had no problem with the download, 250 - 400kbps... maybe now the download traffic is harder... still totally worth it... 2010 is beautiful! and so fast... 7 and 2010 will make a more relaxing office lol.

I didn't need to uninstall Office 2007 to install the beta. I think all it uninstalled was Outlook if I remember correctly.

It works better than OpenOffice, opens fast as all get out, and supports .odt out of the box. I see no problem here.
