okay so my laptop will still play on the speakers even when i have headphones in but the sound also goes through on my headpho

i plug in my headphones and sound plays out of them AND my laptop speakers

Make sure your headphones are plugged in before you start...

1. Go into "Control Panel" and then click on "Sound".
2. Right click on the headphones shown and then click "Set as Default".

Now when you unplug the headphones, the sound should play normally, but when you plug them in, you should only get sound through them.
