Solved! OLD MAC KEYBOARD NOT WORKING OR POWER BUTTON

I have An older 15” Mac book pro that i got In high school maybe 2011? It works but i have To plug in a usb keyboard to type because NOTHING on the Mac keyboard works. Including the power button. The only way to power on my Mac is too unplug the battery and then plug it back in and then plug in a power source(charger). When usb keyboard is u plugged and you try and use the Mac keyboard, it writes in a symbol language or starts wigging out and making noises and entering letter like if someone is holding down a key.
